Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify potential customers and generate new business leads in the chemical sector.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth areas.
    • Present and promote company products to clients, offering technical advice where necessary.
    • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers to understand their needs.
    • Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
    • Product Knowledge & Technical Support:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and applications.
    • Provide customers with accurate product information and solutions tailored to their requirements.
    • Coordinate with technical teams to offer customized solutions for clients.
    • Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:
    • Achieve and exceed sales targets and business objectives.
    • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
    • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and network.
    • Coordination & Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and R&D teams to ensure smooth business operations.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals successfully.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards in chemical sales.
Requirements:
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2-5 years of experience in chemical sales, industrial sales, or B2B sales.
  • Skills
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of industrial chemicals, raw materials, and applications.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and develop business strategies.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial statements, overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading accounting operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation and audits.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity and perform account reconciliations.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance on accounting best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and financial reviews.
  • Improve accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in audit, tax compliance, and financial analysis is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
